SocksOn Stands Out at the Occupational Therapy Show
The Occupational Therapy Show, UKs largest education and trade event just for OTs, ended with an important legacy to all exhibitors and visitors involved. This year’s edition took place at The NEC Birmingham on November 25th & 26th. And Socks On was there to display the innovation to all leading professionals present.
The compression socks dressing aid device was attracting lots of attention from everyone who passed in front of the SocksOn stand, especially Senior Occupational Therapists. Mike Milligan, the creator of SocksOn, was captured on video showcasing the equipment to interested visitors. As usual, the reaction from the public was very positive around the product.
Mike demonstrated to passersby how amazingly simple SocksOn is to use. We have planned additional models optimized for those who use wheelchairs, possibly a battery-operated version for those that find the cranking motion cumbersome. And, in this video, we have a sneak peek at a simply ingenious tool that makes removing your compression socks so easy!
We were so happy to have had the opportunity to attend and have a presence at the Occupational Therapy Show this year. Being one of 290 exhibitors with some of the industry’s top manufacturers but having the positive reception on the floor tells us we are definitely attending this show again. We have met some really wonderful individuals, some with whom we’d love to make more of a connection for our future endeavors! Thank you to all who attended the Occupational Therapy show for 2015 and for those who had the chance to stop by our booth on your way around.
