How to Put Your Socks On with YourSocksOn

Do you wear socks? Of course you do. Have you ever had an injury and not been able to put your socks on? Maybe you have, maybe that’s why you’re here. To the average individual, putting socks on is so simple, you wouldn’t even give it a second thought. Until… your sock-putting-on power is gone. You just can’t lean over to reach your feet to put those nice, warm, comfortable socks on, be it due to an injury, age, or pregnancy.

At our offices recently, we threw a little demo that turned into a spectacle with half the staff crowding around to see, “How does this work?” We had two lucky contestants willing to be filmed, captured, and immortalized forever on the web. One of them was me! I was the sock loader. Watch those skills at loading socks. And then you’ll see Chris, trying the machine for the very first time. What a champ he is! And he was so surprised at having his sock put on for him.

For both compression socks and regular socks, loading the machine is the same. All that’s needed is:

  1. Make sure the cups are located at the top of the machine.
  2. Put the toe of the sock into the cup.
  3. Stretch the tube opening of the sock around the top part of the cup.
  4. Push the socks down the sides of the cup until the toe is at the dotted line on the cup.

Then, when you’re ready to get those socks on, wind the cups down and step on in! Mission accomplished: socks are on.
